Terms & Conditions

1) Who we are This website and the services offered on it are owned and operated by London Voice Academy (“we”, “us”, “our”). We provide 1:1 and group voice lessons, and may facilitate recording and performance opportunities. By accessing or using our website or booking a service, you confirm you’ve read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms. 2) Eligibility To use the site or receive services you must be 18+ (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and have the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement. Do not use the site or services if this is prohibited by law where you live. 3) Bookings, purchases & contract formation When you book or buy via our website you: * accept that you are responsible for reading the full description before committing; and * enter a legally binding contract once you complete checkout/payment. 4) Pricing & payment Prices for services/products are shown on the website and may change from time to time. We may correct pricing errors. Any applicable taxes/fees will be shown at checkout. 5) Changes to services We may, with or without notice, change features, limit access, or suspend/stop providing parts of the service. We may also temporarily or permanently suspend access if you breach these Terms. 6) Lesson cancellations, rescheduling & lateness (1:1) * Standard cancellation window: Sessions must be cancelled ≥72 hours before the start time for a free reschedule. * Lateness: Arriving 15+ minutes late is treated as an unexcused cancellation and charged in full. * Same-day emergencies: At our discretion, once the session is paid in full, you may request one reschedule within 7 days. * Stopping lessons: Please give at least one session’s notice if you intend to stop. Fees already due remain payable. These charges reflect the late-notice impact on our schedule and lost opportunity to reallocate the slot. 7) Health & Sickness Policy (1:1 Lessons) * If you have potentially infectious symptoms (fever, sore throat, new cough, flu-like illness, vomiting/diarrhoea), please don’t attend in person. * Online switch: You can convert to Zoom/FaceTime with notice—email or WhatsApp us and you’ll be sent a link. * Rescheduling: * >72 hours’ notice: free reschedule. * 72–6 hours: 50% fee or switch to online at the booked time. *

1:1 - Booking Policy

1) Rescheduling & Cancellations * 72 hours’ or more notice: Free reschedule. * Less than 72 / no-show: 100% fee. These charges reflect the late-notice impact and the lost opportunity to reallocate your slot. 2) Sickness / Wellness Policy * If you have potentially infectious symptoms (fever, sore throat, new cough, flu-like illness, vomiting/diarrhoea), please don’t attend in person. * Online switch: You can convert to Zoom/FaceTime with notice—email or WhatsApp and you’ll be sent a link. * Fees while unwell: The same timing rules apply (see Section 1). If you’re unsure, choose online to avoid disruption. * No medical details needed—we rely on honesty to keep everyone safe. * Reasonable adjustments: If you have an ongoing health condition, tell us and we’ll make adjustments (e.g., default online). 3) Same-Day Emergencies At our discretion, once the session is paid in full, you may request one reschedule within 7 days for a same-day emergency. 4) Lateness Arriving 15+ minutes late is treated as an unexcused cancellation and charged in full. 5) Payment & Non-Payment Failure to meet these conditions—or refusal of payment for late cancellations, no-shows or unexcused lateness—may result in suspension or termination of future sessions. 6) Ending Your Sessions (Client-Initiated) Please give at least one session’s notice if you intend to stop. Sessions already booked remain subject to the above timing/fee rules. Last-minute terminations may still be attended, rescheduled (per rules), or charged. 7) Dismissal/Termination (Coach-Initiated) We may suspend or terminate services where it’s reasonable to do so, including for: * repeated failure to attend or persistent late-notice cancellations, * inappropriate or disrespectful behaviour, * non-payment of tuition or cancellation fees, or * if, in our professional judgement, sessions are no longer in the best interests of one or both parties.

Group Class -  Booking Policy

1) Registration & Payment Your place is confirmed once payment is received at checkout (or when an agreed instalment plan is set up). Course fees cover the scheduled classes for that specific cohort/term. 2) Cancellations & Refunds (before the course starts) 7 days or more before the start date: Full refund or free transfer to another available cohort/term (subject to availability). Fewer than 7 days before the start date: 100% fee (non-refundable and non-transferable). Rationale: within 7 days we usually can’t reallocate your seat in a group course. 3) After the course has started Once a course has begun, fees are non-refundable and non-transferable for any missed sessions. 4) Missed Classes / Make-Ups Where possible, we’ll try to offer a make-up in another cohort if space allows (and if the content aligns). Make-ups are not guaranteed due to scheduling limits, class sizes and curriculum pacing. If a make-up isn’t possible, we may share materials/practice tracks where available, but missed sessions aren’t refundable. 5) Sickness / Wellness (Group Classes) If you have potentially infectious symptoms (fever, sore throat, new cough, flu-like illness, vomiting/diarrhoea), please don’t attend in person. Online option: If the cohort has an online/hybrid provision for that date, we’ll send a Zoom/FaceTime link when you email/WhatsApp us with notice. (If no hybrid option is scheduled, we’ll follow Section 4 for make-ups/materials.) No medical details needed—we rely on honesty to keep everyone safe. Reasonable adjustments: If you have an ongoing health condition, tell us and we’ll consider reasonable adjustments (e.g., prioritising an online slot when available). 6) Lateness & Attendance Please arrive on time; group classes move fast. Arriving 15+ minutes late may mean no entry to avoid disrupting the group and will be treated as an attended/missed session (no credit/refund). 7) Changes or Cancellations by LVA If we must change a date/venue or cancel a class, we’ll reschedule where possible or offer a class credit/refund for the affected session(s). If a full course is cancelled by LVA, you’ll receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another cohort. 8) Conduct We aim for a respectful, inclusive learning environment. We may suspend or remove any participant for persistent disruption, disrespectful behaviour, or breaching policy. 9) Non-Payment, Suspension & Termination Late/failed payments may lead to suspension or cancellation of your enrolment. We may suspend or terminate enrolment for: repeated absence or persistent late-notice issues, inappropriate or disrespectful behaviour, or where, in our professional judgement, continued enrolment isn’t in the best interests of the group.

Please send all formal membership emails to info@londonvoiceacademy.com and/or your Choir MD. Do not use other platforms (e.g., Instagram DMs) for attendance or membership matters. 2) Eligibility & Joining Choir membership is open to adults (18+). If you have access requirements, please tell us so we can make appropriate arrangements. For support, contact info@londonvoiceacademy.com . 10) Behaviour & Safety Our choirs are collaborative creative spaces. Members must be respectful to others and follow MD/staff directions. Please limit mobile phone use in rehearsals to recording only when instructed by the MD. Look after your belongings; LVA cannot accept responsibility for lost or stolen items. Zero tolerance for: bullying; harassment (including sexual harassment); threats or abusive behaviour towards any member, staff or audience. If you witness or experience any misconduct, inform your Choir MD or email info@londonvoiceacademy.com . 11) Ending or Pausing Membership (Member-Initiated) To cancel, send written confirmation to info@londonvoiceacademy.com . Memberships cannot be cancelled within the first 3 months or less than one month before a show. In exceptional circumstances, you may request a pause; this must be agreed by LVA management. 12) Suspension/Termination (LVA-Initiated) We may suspend or terminate membership where reasonable, including for: repeated absence or persistent late-notice issues, inappropriate or disrespectful behaviour, non-payment of fees, or situations where, in our professional judgement, continued membership is not in the best interests of one or both parties. 13) Contact Questions about your membership? info@londonvoiceacademy.com
